We are trying to make this a gender-balanced experience, so we prefer that you sign up or drop in on Sunday with a member of the opposite sex. If you can't, we will do our best to provide you with a gender Balance (men we need you!!) or ask you to do an exercise with a facilitator or member of the same sex. 1:00 – 3:00 PM for men and women separately to understand modern and post-modern relationship dynamics There are over 80 Million singles (46% of adult population) in the US and over 10 Million singles date on-line. Despite the fact that women gravitate more towards relationship books, workshops and single events than men, men want to be in healthy, long-term relationships at least as much, if not more, then women. She studied much of the self-help and other literature on relationship, interviewed many people on their relationship experiences, and after about two years of consistent effort, she found her mate Reed. They have been together for almost three years and all their friends agree they are a wonderful match. Martin Ucik is the founder of singles2couples. He hosts the weekly singles group and provides individual coaching for singles. He grew up in Germany and came to the US in 1995. His relationship experience is based on leading bands for over 30 years, founding and managing a Multi-Million Dollar software company, 2 long-term marriages with 4 children and - most recently – 4.5 years of dating and various relationships. He has studied a wide range of psychology, relationship and spiritual books and participated in many relationship-oriented groups, workshops and seminars. Liza and Martin are close friends, share many spiritual interests, and a love of spiritual and relationship oriented books. In 2005, Liza introduced Martin to Ken Wilber's work. That, in turn, led him to deeper and new insights on male/female dynamics. They are now collaborating on a book about integral dating and relationships as well as this workshop series. |
